BON DOET

The NGO Platform organizes BON DOET in close collaboration with the Oranje Fonds. The Orange Fund is the largest national fund in the social field and shows the Kingdom from its best side. Every year it spends approximately €30 million on organizations and initiatives that strengthen social cohesion in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. BON DOET offers social organizations and local foundations the opportunity to organize their job or activity with additional volunteers and financial resources.

On the other hand, BON DOET gives volunteers the opportunity to get to know an organization during an activity of a day or part of a day, without having to immediately commit to the organization. Through BON DOET, local organizations receive new volunteers every year, because during BON DOET volunteers get a good idea of ​​what the organization stands for. With the efforts of the organization, the volunteers have a fun day.
